About Me – Preserving Classic BMWs from the 1960s to the 1990s
My name is Berkay Palali, founder of Tayushi.
Tayushi is dedicated to supplying used and carefully reproduced parts for classic BMWs, with a strong focus on models from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. These decades represent the golden era of BMW — a time when engineering, driving feel, and timeless design defined the brand.
As BMWs from this period age, sourcing correct and reliable parts becomes increasingly difficult. Tayushi exists to support owners who value originality, proper fitment, and long-term preservation. The offering consists of original used BMW parts as well as accurately reproduced parts developed in close collaboration with trusted partners.
Tayushi does not offer proprietary or “Tayushi-branded” performance parts. The goal is not modification, but preservation — making high-quality replacement parts available that remain true to BMW’s original design and specifications.
Every part is selected with care. Whether used or reproduced, components are chosen based on condition, accuracy, and suitability for classic BMW models. I only supply parts that I would confidently install on my own vehicle.

Where It All Began
My passion for BMW started long before Tayushi existed.
When I was five years old, the grandfather of my neighbor owned a BMW E30 two-door in the iconic Henna Red color. Every time he drove into our street, I stopped and watched. From the moment the car appeared at the beginning of the road until it disappeared again, I followed it with complete fascination.
The sound, the shape, and the presence of that BMW left a lasting impression. That E30 didn’t simply drive past — it sparked a lifelong passion for classic BMWs.
That passion never faded. It grew stronger over time and ultimately became Tayushi.
